Are there any rules as far as storage and how long these last?

THE JAY WAY it can last up to 2 weeks when put in the fridge. About 1 week when not refrigerated. I would recommend making small batches at a time as to not have so much left over after the time period. Thanks for watching!

Bria Pryor as sein as you make it, you should be ready to use it. Then put it in the fridge to make it last longer. Once water is introduced into the equation it can start growing bacteria. So keep away from water.

I personally don't like using coconut oil so i just added a teaspoon and 1/2 of olive oil it still works great! thank you for this i'm done with store brought scrubs even tho they great too homemade products are absolutely 100% better always.

yes the cinnamon smells amazing! sucre vanilline is a type of vanilla sugar that is put into an african drink my mom makes. She gets it from an African market near by. you could also use vanilla extract.

These were really cute, and I really liked the pink lemonade one, BUT you are not supposed to use cinnamon in anything that would touch the skin. The reason for this is because it will burn your skin. I don’t know if it’s like this for lip scrubs, but I just wanted to warn people before they make the ones with cinnamon.

Christy canning hi, I used light pink so I did not see a stain. But I’m assuming if it does stain (for example with dark red), it will not last for long if it does. But because it has oil in it, I doubt it would stain your lips.

I'm a batim person hi! Sugar may be best to add because it will allow you to actually get the dead skin off, I think kool might be fine to actually be effective. Yes, if your honey is thin enough, it should be effective in removing dead skin along with the sugar. Thanks for watching! 😊

If it is made without honey, and only sugar and oil will it still need a preservative? I'm making these for my small business

I would caution to use a preservative regardless since people will prob introduce water to the mix when they use it. There is the option not to include it but it would have to be stated that the individual should remove the amount of lip scrub that they need into a small bowl and then use the scrub while leaving the batch untouched by water, but some people don’t read instructions lol so it’s up to you love.

Hi! You can use it 2-3 times a week and be sure to keep your lips moisturized with a lip balm, this will keep it from chapping up too quickly. For more effectiveness during each use, you can use a toothbrush in combination with the lip scrub and it will help remove the dead skin much easier. Hope this helps! 🌹

Hi, I would say maybe a week or 2. Putting it in the fridge helps the longevity. Otherwise the consistency won't be good for a scrub.
