okay so my comparison to nerdseq ends pretty much at the fact that its a tracking type sequencer, but i think it has the same feel. originally i was gonna make a more traditional sequencer or a probabilistic one, but for the chip setup i have, this made the most sense. i still want a probabilistic sequencer for drums, but that'll have to wait until i build out my drum modules. not enough time in the day for the number of modules i eventually want. little by little i guess.
overall i'm really happy with how this build turned out, i'm actually starting to get pretty good at this. lemme know what you think and anything you can think of that i could improve for the next ones. hopefully the next two will be out in a week or two, they're already filmed, i just need to edit, but editing always seems to be my bottleneck so its a toss up. anyways thanks for waching! :)

This looks awesome! I can feel how proud you were once it.. worked! You give me so much inspo man, I study electronics in Germany for the sole purpose of being able to build eurorack modules xdxd. Anyaways, have a nice day! :)

such an amasing way to make a sequencer, I will check your code to get some ideas, I'm trying to make the same with a raspberry pi zero to send sequenced midi trough serial port but I can make a stable internal clock for the bpm

the toughest part for me so far has been trying to get decent enough performance without dropping into C or assembly, luckily for this one, 8khz is totally good enough for a sequencer

This sequencer can output a B#, a note that doesn't exist.....carry on!

Cool project. But does it have no gate output?

not officially, but i can just set one of the channels back and forth from A0 to C8 to get low and high pulses to basically get the same thing. if you're trying to build one, adding gate outputs using digital out pins should be fairly trivial.
