I'd stop at the first step and use it as a flowing jacket made of perhaps slightly thicker material. Great ideas are coming from this short tutorial. Thanks for posting!

It depends on how big you are. It looks like she is 45cm on the back so at least 90cm+ a little extra and probably full width of the fabric, and that is probably 150cm in this case. But thats only my guess. Im much bigger so I need more fabric. And if you dont want fraying you should hem all raw edges. It helps to make this dress last longer but then it would not be a no sew dress anymore.
