This is a Dollar Tree DIY, I made these cute little accent pillows from placemats purchased at Dollar Tree and turned them into pillows without sewing them. Of course sewing is an option 😄A Rustic Christmas DIY Pillow tutorial. I love how the mod podged glitter deer and monogram turned out on the DIY no sew throw Christmas pillows. FYI for viewers- freezer paper is made by Reynold wrap company. It's a paper with a plastic backing used to wrap and protect meat in the freezer. It is NOT the same as wax paper or parchment. :-) Love this craft and the use of a placemat for a pillow.

I mean really...I always wanted custom made stencils and I honestly am not able to buy a Cricut right now for transfers. I couldn't figure it out. I am now subscribed. OMG, you would not believe the trouble I am having trying to find freezer paper to make this stencil for my pillow! There was none on the shelf in one of our local grocery stores so I asked at the meat counter and the deli section, none. I then checked at a local meat shop and they don’t use it so I went to a wholesale business and they do carry it but none in. Plus you would have to pay over thirty dollars for a very large amount of freezer paper! I looked in Wal Mart, none, and Amazon has it but delivery would be too late as in late December to early January. I’ll keep looking, wish me luck as I dearly want to make this project. Your pillows are beautiful, Vanessa and you have truly inspired me and I really enjoy all your videos.

Haha!! You don’t have to set it aside for that long. I just didn’t have enough time to complete the project in a short time frame that day. Mod Podge typically dries in 45 minutes or less, so you can get it all done rather quickly. :) I hope this helps

This was great, another great way is to cut the freezer paper the same size of the paper size and put that in the printer, also I found it easier to cut the template with my exact knife than my scissors.
