DIY NO SEW PRAISE DANCE OVERLAY

I demonstrated this tutorial on a small piece of fabric because it was hard to record myself with a large piece of fabric since I didn’t have help. Thanks for watching. I believe I meant centimeters because it will open up into a circle for your head to go in , but you can always cut the hole bigger later on . 3 inches would be too big I believe. Sorry I made this video a while back 😅 lol

Blessings! So my question is do you lay your 11/2 yard of material flat out or do you leave it folded and then make your triangle?

Lay it flat out and then fold to a triangle. You can try it on a piece of paper first to practice . If it doesn’t come out to a perfect triangle you can cut off excess fabric if that makes sense I need to re do this tutorial 😅

Melina I’m honored you want to recreate this overlay but I’m so sorry. I don’t know what it’s called 😫. I honestly went to the fabric store and touched different fabrics to see which one was stretchy. I’ll be more careful with the details in the future. Thank you for watching !

Young lady when you have yard and a half, The Material is not the prefect square as you show in your video. When I did this ,because the fabric was not square...the short ins are in the front not the sides. The one you made for yourself, was fabric 45" or 60"
