Hi Ire, I saw now many things that you made and I must say, I think you became a friend. I made two off your projects and they both look great. Because I now know how to make all off this beautifull bags, wallets etc. I realy have fun making them. You showed so much tips and so much I use to do in a difficult other way. And now I love to make this things for other people who can’t make this or don’t like to make this. I also use old jeans and today I got lots of old sheets, pillowsheets so I can make lots of them. I so appreciate your attention to precision and detail like clipping those curved seams and meticulously pressing everything. I bite my fingernails to avoid snarky comments on videos where things are just slapped together! without clipping, pressing, or matching stripes and plaids. Also, in my seventy-some years of sewing, it has never occurred to me to use a template to press narrow hems and such.That corner template also makes things easy. Thank you for that! It's never too late to learn. and 'll be using these tips often.

I usually find the music added to videos to be annoying especially when instructions are being spoken, but you made good choices with your music. Your music is not too loud or annoying, even though you are not speaking. I can even hear the sewing machine clearly. Your directions are well thought out and easy to understand. Great job.

Ire, what a great little bag. I made it today and I’m totally in love with the end result. I had an 80’s white Lee jean and remnants of a bed sheet I used for another project that were perfect for this upcycle. Your instructions are so easy to follow and the background music sooo calming. I've got a pair of my husband's old jeans cut up right now, waiting for me to make up my mind how I want to make my next purse. I like this idea--I can see this done with a bunch of embroidery on the flap. I'll no doubt also add more pockets (I'm a sucker for pockets LOL).

This is a really excellent pattern! I think I've seen 3 or 4 dozen patterns for jeans-into-purse, and this is now among my top 3. The ONLY alterations I think I'd make would be to add a small wallet/change purse (closable with a magnet strip to avoid zippers), and to trade that big snap closure on this for a couple of magnets. Yeah, I'm partial to magnetic closures, LOL! 😄 This will definitely be on my to-do list, though. 👍🏼
