I love this video!! OML! You are simply.. AMAZING! I made a stop to your video after watching several other videos on how to make the obi belt! And to put it simply, I've been blessed!!! Thankyou so much for the free patterns as well! They really helped me out!

I don't know why some are complaining. If she didn't show how to download and tape pattern together some would complain about that. I'm new to that but been sewing 50 years. If video is too fast put it on slow speed but seriously this is easy. A wider middle reinforced with interfacing with narrower straps to wrap around and tie in front.Great job. I was given a lot of mens neck ties and had idea to use them for obi belts. Came to see how someone was making them. Thank you for video. Helps me to see how to use the neckties for my idea.

Guys it’s a belt the measurements will be specific to your waist, she just brought us to the water. It’s up to us to drink.

This is a great tutorial. Good instructions. Clear photos. Hit following and I don’t follow very often

Hi, i know im late but i have a question. Is it possible to do this with jeans fabric?
@DIYwithIghoandme Жыл бұрын
Hey - Yes, you can. I’ve tried it with just jeans fabric & with jeans fabric plus fusible interlining. It worked both ways for me. Hope that helps!

@ninaanin29283 жыл бұрын
As you can see in the thumbnail, she made two different kinds of belts :)

I downloaded the pattern but when I want to print it , it doesnt fit in a regular A4 type sheet. I have to scale it down to 30% so it can fit in the page. I wonder if it would still work if I scale it down.....
@shantellabu-ageel79632 жыл бұрын
that was happening to me. When you go to print you have to click on fit to page. it was at 29% for letter size.

What paper did you use for the pattern? Is it A4 or A5?

I wish she had spoken in more laymen's terms or just moved a bit slower and explained her moves. She moved fast, and she lost me early on in the video. I have done a lot of diy crafts with the aid of you tube channels. This one just moved too fast. Maybe it's better for experienced belt makers. Not sure what fabric she used, which seems to be an integral part of this type of project. Not my thing.

You could replay the video and watch it step by step (pausing in between)🤷.. And downloading the patterns would give you an advantage in understanding.
@kembakirton31764 жыл бұрын
Slow down the video. You can use any type of fabric. If it's a lighter weight you should use interfacing. But a heavier weight like Denim Fabric you may not have to use. She made 2 different belts and there is a free pattern to download
@SoulSearch111104 жыл бұрын
This was confusing as heck. You should have just done one belt and been more detailed. Don't anyone at me because I will not read it.
