B.O.B. Is very nicely done. Your research and planning payed off. To buy a rig like that is very expensive and your workmanship looks to be top notch as well as your choice of materials

Amazing build... You thought of everything! Love the layout and all the extras you included that add real comfort to a teardrop... I'd much rather have a water heater than the television that was standard with our T@G ... Thanks for sharing your fabulous teardrop! ~ Maria

Beautiful job! Great ideas though out your build. I bet it's nice to have bunks/couch for the extra room for storage when traveling. You'll have to sit down and tell subscribers about how you went about the build with photos.

TOTALLY SICK BUILD!!!!! let me guess engineer? ozarks also a great choice! I recently added an accumulator to my water pump certainly w/ the $30. and an olympian catalytic heater would take care of the off grid heating. The bunk/couch is awesome. Thanks for sharing

It’s not exactly my kind of trailer but Wow what a great job and I too got an idea or two from you. I have been struggling to get that great multi purpose piece unit I want. I think I found it with your bunk couch design. I have teens that will come along sometime. I have seen other similar ones but yours is so simple and perfect. Your whole build is great. Put a little dimmer on the galley light next to the switch and it will be perfect. LOL!

For your light bar on your kitchen, try using some transparent vinyl wrap or tint on it to help reduce the brightness. Maybe an amber color or yellow or red, to preserve your night vision.
@prepperjonpnw64825 жыл бұрын
He was saying it’s not so much the brightness but the amount of power it draws. I would still put an amber or yellowish tint on it though just to keep the bugs away at night.

Great job! Awesome home build. I was hoping you would cover the materials used. The outside looks like stainless steel and inside birch plywood. I think everyone watching and commenting is hoping for plans and materials list lol. You could probably make some $$ for the plans etc. I know I’d pay for them lol. Or just post someway that is downloadable for free. I think all of us are very impressed and a bit envious lol Cheers mate and happy trails

Check out the tnttt thread in the description. All the plans, parts used, etc. are in there. The outside is aluminum and the inside is birch. Plans are on pages 1 and 3 of the thread. www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=66631

@corax20125 жыл бұрын
The shelf extending fore and aft of the wheel well is a good idea for extra storage, etc. It doesn't make the camper any wider since the wheels stick out anyway.

4 of those Peltier chip air cooling units might be enough and save space plus weight, about 1000-1200 BTU worth from 12V and 30 amps. roll down movie screen and a little 12v 640x480 (native) projector would be pretty cool for inside, or for use outside a 5ft screen. 14 gallons not too bad if "showering" minimalist style, two small pans for soap+ sponge and rinse+sponge with less than 1/2 gallon, been there too.
@ZeroToAwesome5 жыл бұрын
I like the screen idea!

I like Bob. I like the couch idea, good for the dogs bed. Side awning keeps the heat off the sides. I don’t see what you need the generator for.
@ZeroToAwesome5 жыл бұрын
The generator is just for heat or a/c since they require 110v
@mre31205 жыл бұрын
I’m impressed I hop mine comes out like yours . I would like to know how you built the door for galley to keep water out . Info on that would be appreciated and have you had any leaks on it .
@ZeroToAwesome5 жыл бұрын
No leaks! I used a hurricane hinge and t-mounding from vintage technologies. Check out my tnttt thread in the description for more details. Lots of other good hatch info on that site too.
@bkl88044 жыл бұрын
What a beauty! So professional. Id love to see pictures of "what not". Btw, can you angle the LED bar outwards so it can be used to light up the camp site if needed?
@ZeroToAwesome4 жыл бұрын
You could rotate the light but you might need a ladder to get to the screws that loosen it. Maybe sit on someone’s shoulders? And there’s a video of whatnot now! kzbin.info/www/bejne/gGXIZZyVZrGVqc0

Make the bunk top lean out a little and the bottom slide out some so you don't have to sit completely vertical and it is more comfortable.

They’re ARB 2500s. I’ve had a couple poles damaged in high winds but the great part is you can get replacement parts from 4 wheel parts for cheap. Pro tip I learned from another camper: use dog tether stakes to tie them down and you won’t have to worry about broken poles! Great little camper. One question I have to ask... you have a toilet stashed somewhere?
@ZeroToAwesome5 жыл бұрын
Lol! There is a fold up bag style camp toilet stashed in the toolbox. You could probably stuff a chemical toilet in there if you wanted but I didn’t want to have to deal with cleaning it out.
@MonaLisa-pn9bu5 жыл бұрын
@@ZeroToAwesome ha ha, thanks for your response! It's always the first thing I wonder because I don't like walking more than 20 feet to some dark place in the woods to use a hole in the ground. I did that when I was young and camped in tents and sleeping bags... I'm old now and want my toilet IN THE CAMPER with a minimal amount of spiders and things. ha ha ha

@mattokane30695 жыл бұрын
How do you find the AC work hidden inside the camper (NOT MOUNTED IN THE TRADITIONAL WAY) - Does it work ok? Great Build by the way - like the bunks, might use that idea.
@ZeroToAwesome5 жыл бұрын
Works great! I ran it for 3 days straight in 100 degree heat with no issues. If I were to do it again I’d make the hatch a little bigger and ditch the pc fans.
@mattokane30695 жыл бұрын
@@ZeroToAwesome Did you find the PC Fans are not needed ?
@ZeroToAwesome5 жыл бұрын
If you leave the pc fans off the a/c exhaust fan blows them just as fast as when they’re on. So yeah, I don’t think they’re necessary. I’d just enlarge the opening a little bit for piece of mind.
