DIY paper earrings

Step by step instructions on how to create beautiful, lightweight, durable paper earrings from cardstock. Great way to upcycle your paper scraps from other projects. Please like and subscribe!!
Materials used:
1. Heavyweight white cardstock (110lb/300 g/m2). You can also use regular cardstock, use 5 pieces for the base instead: bit.ly/300Aelj
2. 2.5 in. circle lever punch (or you can print, or trace circles onto cardstock and cut): amzn.to/32XNI3s

4. Bowl of water to rinse paintbrush

It’s mod podge! Lovely earrings. I always use a glue spreader for mod podge, it’s much better than a brush and is more suitable for earrings, you can find them in the kids craft section, usually around £1 for a pack of four. Hope this helps.

Yes, that’s another option. The amount you will need, however, may get a little pricey.

I would say anywhere from $10-$14, as they are handmade. If you add additional things like crystal or gem beads, then the price will be more. Hope this helps!

Hi Patricia, thanks for catching that. If you don’t have any of these products on hand and are starting from scratch, it would cost ~$60 to purchase all the materials. I’ve included all the products links in the description box. I’m a card maker and have tons of scrap paper from bigger projects. This was a perfect way to upcycle the paper.

How do you keep the glue from making lines

If you use a paint brush, very small lines are normal and hardly visible (like with acrylic paint). Perhaps try a different brush?

I use a sponge to apply my Mod Podge and/or acrylic paints. HTH! 😉
