You can but depends on the paper I think. If is too soft the palm spear won't be that sharp I guess.

160gsm paper. You can find the link to buy the paper in the pinned comment, or you can try to use wallpaper roll actually. I'm sure it will do the job. I'm planning to make these palm leaves with vintage and pink paper. I'm very excited to see how they will look like :)
