I found other videos they said take the number of inches you want the leash and multiply by 4

I just made a 4' (plus handle) leash with these instructions. I started out with about 80' of each color and finished with plenty to spare. Instead of looping the cord through the clasp at the center I looped it at 7' on the inside with the rest on the outside which meant I had a lot of cord left over in one bundle per color instead of two much smaller bundles (if that makes sense)

Also I used this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5asfWxueaqCaqM for instructions on doing the handle. The hands were in the way and very difficult to follow in this video.

Aaaaaaalso, I wouldn't call this "quick". It took me a LONG time. Make sure you shove down on the knots every few goes and especially before you start the handle. I thought I was doing it nice and tight but wound up with a huge mess of slack that I would never have noticed until too late. All of that said, thanks for this, the leash turned out great!

What the heck was that move you made at 2:35-2:42? Was that a mistake you didn’t edit out? Seems like you made a move but immediately I did the same move and went on to a different move?

Thanks for the comment. At the 2:35 point I made a mistake and forgot to edit it out. Sorry about that. Basically I forgot to cross the paracord behind the project before weaving it through the front which is why I removed the initial weave I did in the front of the project. The green and the black cord twist behind the top cords which is a bit hard to show in the video. I do show this in the video after removing the cord I weaved through the front right after 2:35. I hope this helps!

Hello Lorna, The yellow tool that I use the the video is called a paracord jig. If you go to Amazon and search for "speedyjig metal paracord jig" it can be purchased there. Thanks for the comment!

Wondering why you don't show the whole leash either at the beginning or end of the video, so people know what they're making.

Hello Tana. I try different ways of laying out my videos to see what seems to be liked the best. Thank you for pointing this out. In this particular video the full leash picture can be found in the thumbnail. However, I just noticed that some of my more recent videos this is not the case.

It would be nice if I could watch more than 20 seconds at a time before the video freezes and fails to load. Super frustrating youtube!!!
