Hi Patti ! Hope you had a wonderful, blessed Easter weekend. These are so precious😊I have some old screens that I can take apart and cut out for the wings, then they can be turned anyway you'd like , I wonder if I were to hot glue the edges of the screen so no one would get poked by the wires edges? I wonder if the heat from the summer sun would melt the glue again? Any way ( mind roaming again😂) Hope you and yours has a great week ahead. 3 days of rain here this week. Ugh! I remember making these years ago. But I recall using a paint specifically for clay pots. I made a turtle, but put a pot on top. Drilled holes in it and shoved a string of lights in it. I made it for my BIL and he still has it out.

I have used the paint for clay pots, but they don't have a good selection of colors. I guess you could mix colors to get what you want. (I did'nt think of that till now LOL) The lights sound like a great idea. Thanks, Patti
