So, I got my eyebrows threaded today for the first time and I want to share my experience for anyone who's curious. :) The cost: I got mine done at a kiosk at the mall. I've heard that threading can be pretty expensive if you don't do it yourself, but it was only $11 where I got them done, which is REALLY good imo. The pain: It felt a lot like plucking to me, so if you can handle plucking, you can probably handle threading. It was just a tiny bit more painful than plucking in some areas. It definitely hurt enough to make my eyes water, but it really wasn't bad! I would maybe rate it a 6/10 on the pain scale. The results: The process only took about 5 minutes or less, and then the threader let me look in a mirror afterwards. My eyebrows looked so beautiful and clean, I was very happy. My threader also mentioned that if you thread your eyebrows, they lost longer than waxing and there is no redness or swelling afterwards, which is true because I never got any! My threader was also SO nice, she was a delight to be around and i'm extremly happy with my results. :) i've waxed, plucked, shaved, all of that jazz, and threading is definitely my favorite method because it looks so clean and elegant, and waxing hurt me like Hell. I highly reccomend threading.

I first started getting my eyebrows threaded at age 10 (Im now 14) . My first time did hurt a bit and cause my eyes to water , considering I wasn't used to it , but honestly it wasn't that bad! If you're trying to decide between waxing and threading , threading is the way to go because it gives you a more precise eyebrow and theres minimum pain . :)

It's just unsettling for me to see young girls these days, and I'm only 24. I wouldn't have a problem with the eye brows or nails, but I'd be wary on the make up, and absolutely against the clothes. Though, as you can see, I'm not exactly against make up. I fell in love with it when I was in dance and cheer, so I always loved it. I raised my baby sister, and she is 16 now. And it's a very nervous thought because she looks over 18, and she has for years. Our family hits puberty early.

Kelsey B Hurts more, results are similar. Quicker is also not better, I always got a massage with my waxing, and it was always worth the extra 15 minutes. But no matter what method you pick, anything that pulls the hair by the roots... threading or waxing alike... lasts the same amount of time. Nothing can stop how your hair grows.

I'll probably won't ever DIY my own eyebrow but guys, you should totally go for threading. Tried waxing before but it makes my skin dry. Threading is clean and it doesn't pull your skin. I'll admit it's not painless. Heck, I tear up everytime. (Upper lips threading is the worst. THE WORST!) Beautiful results tho. Fleek eyebrows just like in the video. Beauty comes with pain. 😂

I just had my eyebrows threaded for the second time in my life today, and neither the first time nor this time was anywhere near as painful as all the people in the comments are making it out to seem. It's very efficient and when you have someone do it for you who knows what they're doing, it takes all of 5 minutes to take care of unruly caterpillar brows. The girl in the video is doing it slow to show her work, when you see her do her forehead area clean up, that is the typical speed of the process. Very quick.

hihipieinthesky got mine done today. It only lasts for about 2-5 minutes really. And the degree of pain depends on your threshold on pain. Literally, I wax my upper lip all the time now and I've grown numb to it but today when I got my eyebrows threaded the lady said "Have you done this before?" "Nope" "It'll hurt a lot" "It's okay, I wax" And then I was crying after one eyebrow. But it's twinges of pain. If you use tweezers it's like she's pulling multiples hairs out at once, which is what is happening. I would not recommend it to those who have a low pain tolerance, although you could use this experience to increase your pain tolerance, but to be quite honest, these are professionals it's just easier to let them do it, than at home (to me), and the pain doesn't last that long and your eyebrows will be on point

I just did this and I'm so proud of myself. They look really good especially since I didn't even have to go to the salon. Though I suggest you use ice before hand, it makes the experience so much better. For those who are scared to do it, it doesn't hurt as much as it looks like when she's doing it. Tweezing is not as bad as you think and with threading you can screw up easier because you have to practice and have control first

Because it takes alt of patience and practice n not everyone can do this n if you will try you'll end up pulling your skin n bruising it.... N u may also end up pulling hair that you don't want to n mess things up..... But upper lip, chin n forehead are easy to do cz u can self stretch them by making facial expressions.... Lol I use tweezer on brows n thread on other parts

It's so good, I thread my eyebrows at home...it is less painful than plucking plus the threading can get all those fine hairs...plucking takes too long lol. X
