Nice job, Apollo will feel better every time he has to use the door....especially with snow and ice, way safer for him being such a big dog 😊🐕

He’s already lounging on it! We even had a couple curious goat ladies that were eyeballing it from their porch come by and give it an official testing !!GOAT APPROVED!!

Apollo is a cool dog! I'm going to show Chris and Zack your little deck with the stairs. Looks like you could move the porch if needed and that could be a real nice option for the for the Snack Shack or Eds shed.

Yeah our original deck/stairs were tiny and Apollo would hang off of it

Just to let you know the termites will ravage any wood touching the ground. I used the copper to trat my post here east of St johns, and they have still been nibbling on it below grade.

Yeah I usually just paint the contact points and was considering using some bedliner type material on some of my projects due to extreme wear out here and really cheap quality wood these days. This was a rush job considering we destroyed the original steps before we finished the new ones ……

@@adventurereadyoffgrid yeah I am in an 83 motor home, with draft windows and a roof that leaks around the 2 ac units. The one in the back is ac and heat.i planned to take them off and either put in a vent, or just patch it over.

@@georgecothran4760 I spent my last 5 years in the “labor force” prior to retiring running my buddies RV roof replacement business. We used a commercial roof coating and a scrim mess fabric to incapsulate the RV roof parts to give it an 18 year maintenance free water tight seal. Accent RV is the company based out of Corona, Ca. They can send you out a basic repair kit for your vent seals if needed, but unfortunately most AC or heat related roof mounted RV units use a styrene crush washer with no flange to seal and can be a little harder to seal up if the roof has any sag or issues etc.
