So I've been looking for a crochet tote bag pattern that gets closer to the Prada one and it's not impossible to do and so far this has been the best! Still working on it but so far it's been smooth! This channel never disappoints.

Hi I found this tutorial helpful but I noticed that some of the instructions don,t match with the instructions from the website link! I’m also curious on why we always chain one for certain stitch ends. For example for the handle we stick one before proceeding two double crochets.

Hi Aimee :) Thanks for leaving a comments! To answer your question you add a chain to a row in order to match the height of the stitch that we're going to create :) Hope this help! I'll double check on the site and see what we've missed there too

Hello! The end project just looks so amazing and the best one I found online. I would like to make this however find the start of the tutorial confusing. It says to make 34 chains at the start. But for row 1, you said to only do 31 sc??? What happened to the other 3 chains?

Hi dear! Thank you for the lovely feedback. We took a lot of effort to make it happen for you guys :). So the foundation chain is 34 chains, then the first row you start making 31 single-crochet, followed by triple increase (3 single crochet on the same chain/stitch) then continue with another 31 single-crochet to circle back to the starting point of row #1. Hope it's more clear now :)

I think I have worked it out, both the video and instructions are not clear. After chaining 34, single crochet into 32 stitches, on the last stitch single crochet into the last stitch (don't turn your work - you will be working backward along the base of the chains), then 31single crochet until the end, slip stitch into the previous row. You work will look like it does when she measures - you will have just worked the base.

Your written pattern is different to what you show in the pop up 28:33 (for the triangle section). In the pop up you have repeated rows 16 and 17 twice... doesn't make sense. I have found a few inconsistencies.

I’ve honestly never seen a worse more complicated tutorial in my life, which is such a pity because the bag you made is beautiful. Please if you get the chance, remake the tutorial because it has many flaws specially with counting. And if you do, please make it up close so we can SEE what you’re doing. Thanks 😁

Also diese Häkelei ist ja unmöglich! Man sollte wenigstens erkennen können, wie die Zunahmen gemacht werden. Auch das Ausmessen des Gehäkelten wird viel zu schnell gemacht. I‘m so sorry.
