DIY rack & pinion CNC test movement

Great video. What size rack and pinion did you use? I've got a pair of nema 23s that i shall be using on my build with a direct drive as you have here. Just wondering what size pinion i should use for the nema's.

Makerstore sells this type of rack that slides inside of their C Beam. I used it on my machine awhile back and so far it works well.

Use gear reduction for those nema 34 motors. Atleast go for 3:1
