I'm impressed with the use of a rotary motor to create linear motion, but I'm seeing a Lot of wasted energy in order to accomplish this, especially as the leverage changes at different angles of the rotary arm. Also, the electronics involved in controlling the speed of the linear actuator, and the additional power used in that, seems to make this a very energy inefficient and cumbersome device, not to mention expensive, especially in large numbers. Thanks for posting this, the engineering is very interesting. I haven't heard "sex machine" since the 1970s.....
