I appreciate your video. If you use the term Re-design instead of recycle, you express that it is a quality thing to do. When you recycle you destroy waste completely and then remake it into something else. Using the term Redesign elevates the value of an item. Thank you for your video.

You don't destroy anything in recycling. It might be melted down to its starting form and then designed to be made into something else. Just like this shirt. She cut it down to the original threads, removed them, did minimal trimming and turned it into a cute nightie or summer top. Recycling is what everyone's talking about and is extremely important to saving our planet and one way to do that is to keep reusing something like a t shirt and making a nightgown. Then when that is no longer useful to the person wearing it..say they get a stain on it, make it into a onesie for a babies or skirt for a little girl. It may still wind up in a land fill but it would take more time getting there making other things out of it and it would still be helpful to decrease the mess landfills are today.
