I know this was 3 years ago but any idea how much resin you mixed up for each layer? It’s really gorgeous❤
@amberartcreations8 ай бұрын
Thanks! I believe it was 16-18 ounces for this plus the topcoat.

Wait for the resin to thicken up a bit to make the designs. That retains the shape.
@kokykat71803 жыл бұрын
Very very nice I try to do it but the desing mixed up all together LOL .i will try again and i will wait 45 minut to thiken the resin befor pouring it ..
@amberartcreations3 жыл бұрын
Check your resin’s working time. Mix the colors and keep, check after 15 min. Pour when it starts to get thick. By the time you start to do the design, it should be thick enough.

I love this going to try it but I was wondering is the bottom of the mold the top
@amberartcreations4 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Actually the top is the right side up, but I ended up using the back coz it was prettier, and the hardware fit too!

Thank you, yes I love it! I hope mine turns out as good as yours. ;)

Very beautiful ❤️🙏 your resin looks thick, what resin are you using? Do you wait som time before pouring it in the mould
@amberartcreations4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I used KS Resin( link and discount code in description). It is a little thicker, but has a great heat resistance, so I love it. While I was making this , it thickened up in 40-45 min and then I made the pattern so as to retain it.

This is beautiful!! Do you wait after pouring to create the floral pattern or do you do it immediately??
@amberartcreations4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! The resin was thick enough by the time I started doing the pattern, around 35-40 min. It helped retain the design 😊

Did you let the clear bottom layer set so as to no blend to fast? And did you do all three at the same time?
@amberartcreations4 жыл бұрын
Hi! I did all three at the same time, and that’s why it took me around 40 min to start with the flowers, and the resin had thickened quite a bit by then. So it didn’t blend.

Gorgeous do you mix resin in the silver paint you put around the edge in the beginning?
@amberartcreations3 жыл бұрын
No it’s dry mica powder that I brush on the mold. It sticks itself to silicone. Hope this helps!
@marlenebarone94073 жыл бұрын
is the shimmery stuff paint

@amberartcreations3 жыл бұрын
@@marlenebarone9407 thanks Marlene! Yes, I used all mica powders. I used dry silver mica powder to brush the edges and then used micas mixed with resin for the floral design 😊
