Brooch bouquets are a perfectly imperfect art. I'm so glad I discovered these and started making them. It's an awesome way to spend time and make extra cash. I will disagree slightly on the time it makes them. The type you made would take a while. But there are some brooch bouquets, specifically the "ball" shape ones with mixed brooches. The first one I made was a small hydrangea, mixed silver/black/gray brooches (appx 30-35 pins) I whipped it up in an hour or so and made $300

Where did you get the lot sale from
@TheSparkleQueen3 жыл бұрын
It was so long ago I can't get the listing off Ebay anymore, but I just did a quick search on Ebay and you can find similar lots. Depending on how much time you have, I'd set up a saved search on there so you don't miss any bargains. Happy hunting :D

Where did you find the large dangle brooch in the front? I can't even pull anything remotely similar in a Google search!
@TheSparkleQueen8 жыл бұрын
+Brittany Guentner That was actually a find in an ebay bid I won. If I recall it was a "lot" purchase that had tons of random rhinestone bits and pieces in it. I suspect it was from something like a chandelier, or some sort of decorative piece. It's too heavy to have been a clothing item, and not proportionate enough to be a necklace.

so the styrofoam ball is sturdy enough?? it helled up pretty well???
@TheSparkleQueen10 жыл бұрын
Oh yes! It held up insanely well. Nothing moved or fell out. If I had to make again, I would absolutely go this route again.

You did a great job on your bouquet.... But the tutorial did not give us much. How about a step by step in twinning a brorch and inserting it into the strafoam and showing how you secured it?????
@TheSparkleQueen9 жыл бұрын
Tanya Enochs Agreed! The overview was not enough, thus the tutorial just uploaded here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eqqVmaGgpd6tjLc hope that helps! :)

Definitely a beautiful piece, you can see this brooch bouquet took a lot of time and effort to make. That being said, my taste is more simple and it would be too gawdy for me. Still very beautiful though, thanks for sharing how to DIY. :-)

Andrea K I just shared a detailed tutorial, and I think the video that is most helpful for you is this one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6Gvp5ykeKaEY80 essentially - I secured the stems through foam.
