That would be so cool! You could definitely paint it. I would test a couple of different paints on a small section of rope before you get started, but I think you’d be able to use acrylic craft paint for this. Let me know how it turns out 😊

Thank you!! Yes it’s called sisal rope. I wish I had the packaging so that I could know the exact size that I used but I think they sell it in 3/8 inch and 1/4 inch and it would really be up to you as far as how you want it to look. I hope that helps!

Thank you! It is holding up great. I don't have it in a high traffic area, it's more off to the side as a decor piece however for the use that it has gotten it's perfect.
