The maximum particle size must be 1/5 of the nozzle outlet hole. For example with a 3mm nozzle the granulometry or sand, at most 0.6mm. (3mm / 5 = 0.6)

Not bad. With a little extra expense on some BSP nuts n fittings to replace the JB weld I'd say you could up the PSI to make it work even better.

what sort of sand is being used? if silica sand it should only be used in a cabinet or full face oxygen fed mask

Isn't the starting gun already a sandblasting gun? it seems to me that the red container is used to put the abrasive which is then vacuumed by depression

That's a parafin gun but in all honesty if you was to take the nosel off the end I would have thought it could do the same job ... Never tested this theory so would be interesting

@W W this is wrong, I have a sandblasting gun which does not work by gravity but by depression, the tank is under the barrel :) (like the Metabo SSP 1000 for example)

Need a larger compressor. Most people use the 1/4 inch coupler. I see you used the larger one. You can all soak the rusty part in 1 part molasses to 9 parts water for 7 days, and the rust will wash off with running water.

Из пескоструя соорудил пескоструй, этож надо такой хрени в голову придти. Я им радиатор охлаждения масла АКПП промывал раз в год на RX 350, классная штука.
