I think you really should had been wearing a high quality dust mask when sanding that polyurethane cos the dust can have damaging effects on ur lungs kinda like glass in ur lungs.

You are 100% correct! I really should've been wearing a mask. Thank you so much for pointing this out... I'm actually half-tempted to bring down the video because I don't want to promote unsafe diy's. Luckily this is my only one I made and if I do make another board, I'll definitely wear a respirator 👍

Do you think it would work without the formica? Like as an alternative to spray maybe a coating of something instead or a resin?
@brianhardy84772 жыл бұрын
Damn!!! That's crazy. I'll have to see what it's costing here in the states. If it's cheap enough here and shipping isn't crazy, I'll send ya some.

where did you get the formica from
@brianhardy84776 жыл бұрын
I bought it from Lows. They had some scratch and dent stuff and it only cost me $10 for a huge sheet of it. Thanks for watching!

Is there a certain kind of Formica or any kind with any design on it

I feel the smoother the better. Usually solid colors work best.

@@brianhardy8477 Bruh here in Australia it costs over a hundred dollars for a sheet of Formica

Wow! Is there any cabinet shops or hardware stores that have a "scratch and dent" stuff they want to get rid of?
