What kind of wood and what the backing is it was kind of hard for me to understand. This is such a cool idea I love it!

The block wood was purchased from lowes it was 1/2" thick 1x4 material.. the basket board is 1/4" Luan it is used for sub flooring under tiles or vinyl flooring... hope this helps you..

I have a vinyl Plotter so i actually made them myself.. We talked about selling them on EBAY but just cant find the time to do that.... Hoping your knee surgery went well .. Sorry took so long to respond... did you start working on this project ???

It was Elmer's wood glue... thanks for watching... have fun making one... it is time consuming... but the end result is pretty cool for sure..
