Great tutorial! Do you have any issues with the laminating sheet separating on the edge? I wanted to create some but was worried that I would have it leave an “edge” around it but I really didn’t want that look.
@AtHomeintheSun2 ай бұрын
@@sydsmylove hi, thank you! I haven't had an issue with that, but I would think it could be an issue if you didn't use high enough heat. Turn your laminator heat up *higher* than the thickness of your laminating sheets and run it through a couple times. Hope that helps!

Hi, I have a question; I noticed you laminated before cutting the card stock. Does it matter if you cut before or is it best to cut after you laminate?
@AtHomeintheSun24 күн бұрын
@@MimiRoman-w8d hi! I like to laminate then cut. You could cut, laminate, cut if you'd like to leave a little bit of the clear laminate around the scratch-off card.
@MimiRoman-w8d24 күн бұрын
@@AtHomeintheSun I prefer how yours came out. So I think laminating first is better I just didn’t know if I did that it would hold together if I cut it. Also taking your lead on laminating 3m on 5m heat setting. Thank you for the great tips. I’m going to try these. Appreciate it.

@@MimiRoman-w8d yes, using higher heat is a must! I've never had a problem with the laminate separating as long as I use higher heat. I'm glad this was helpful for you!

Thank you!! Ive often wondered how the scratch off challenges were made. Does cutting them out not cause the laminate to eventually come apart? Or do you run them back through the laminator to seal the edges again??
@AtHomeintheSun7 ай бұрын
Hi Jodie! Thanks for watching. 😊 I haven't had an issue with the laminate separating. I suppose it could be an issue with a lower quality laminate or not sealing with enough heat.

What size for an a5 saving scratcher
@AtHomeintheSun4 ай бұрын
Hi Amber! I haven't made an A5 size, but you'd want dimensions around 7.5" x 4" to fit comfortably in an A5 envelope. You could go a bit larger if you prefer. Hope that helps!
