I’ve watched a couple of videos how to bind a book without the machines and now this, it’s interesting to see both methods and the differences, thanks ☺️

Great tutorial! Is there any cheaper alternative to fastbind perfect bind endsheets for finishing the paperblock? Like simple adhesive paper (the strip area is covered so simple paper wont work here )
I am looking for a hard cover book that has nothing in it just like yours?

think a sticker on hard cover looks cheap, be better naked. Wondering about imprint machines cost and how much the plates on a machine would cost for different prints.

The thickness of the book is not the same as the spine of the cover, so it's very ugly, you make a template but it's too bad
@sleepytimesounds26892 жыл бұрын
There are many variations of how thick a book or journal can be, it's all about preference honestly.

I hate tutorials like this. If we searched DIY book making there’s a high chance we don’t have special tools/machinery, let alone 3 of them.

Certainly not when for the correct and decent equipment its in thousands just for one of them machines 😂

This ain't a tutorial, this is a selling pitch. And sorry to say, a bad one at that. "Press this button and then you have a bookblock. You do this, because it just works". Also, the guy cutting off the corners without showing close-ups of the cut corners (because look at it closely: those cuts were ugly!). Then he folded those sides and 'pinched' two corners to get it flush? It didn't make any sense. Then he showed how he 'locked' the book in place, only to have the 'lock' not correctly locked at all LOL
