Thank you very much! I love all the knowledge that is taught at mix with the masters. Unfortunately, it was often the case that the drum tracks that were mixed there were often already processed during recording so that I personally couldn't learn that much. I was particularly interested in the step between completely clean drums and the final finishing touches and that was usually already done. That's why I created the DIY sessions. That being said the Tchad Blake drum recording workshop over there is amazing.

Can you or anyone recommend an alternative to the Pusher? It seems essential to this sound but I don't do Waves stuff. (I've been there and I'm not going back ever again.) Also why did you use the DirectionMixer instead of the pan knob in some instances? Thank you!

Hey Timo, alternatives could be one of the following: Process Audio Sugar Decap Knock Flux BitterSweet Pro About the direction mixer: I tend to use it on stereo tracks to work with direction/panning as well as the spread to control the image of the signal. But it’s sort of a habit. I guess in most instances the pan knob works just fine. 😊
