@@reallifeengineer7214 Thanks for looking into it, but you don't want to put any grease over the rubber boots anyway.

@@someeric I fill the entire inside cavity/space of the rubber boot that protects the glide pins. I use silicone grease for this; same silicone grease that goes on the guide pins. If the inside of the boot is entirely filled up with silicone grease, then there is no room for water to get through. The only purpose for either copper grease (anti seize) or aluminum anti seize in the brake caliper area, is the backside of brake pads, to avoid it “sticking too hard” and difficult to remove in the next replacement. Some people also wipe a little bit of anti seize on the pad’s hardware; that’s a toss-up, it’s too easy to apply too much which will get gunked up and then the pads no longer slide easily.
