So I'm guessing this shower curtain needs a liner. Otherwise it will get we and become moldy or mildewy.

It depends on the type of fabric you use! The one Sharadha picked is water resistant which means it should be good. If you're taking hour long showers than maybe you need to add a liner, but for your quick in and out it should hold up perfectly! Just ask for help when shopping to get clarification on the perfect fabric to use!
