DIY SIM RIG BUILD: Simagic M10 Direct Drive Wheel Install. Creation of the base to fit our new toy

Today in the garage we make the base to mount the new Simagic M10 Direct Drive wheel base to our rig. I used 4mm Mild Steel plate, cut, folded and welded using my BOC 182 Mig Welder. The plate is fully adjustable for distance to the driver as well as height and angle. The paint I used is an aerosol truck bed liner made by Rustoleum. I really recommend it, its great stuff and gives a good finish and is very hard wearing!
As a bonus I also fit the new (but secondhand) Fanatec Clubsport V3 pedals, these are a loadcell pedal that is a great improvement over the old Logitech G29 setup I originally used when building the rig.
I'm hoping they provide a considerable improvement in consistancy and lap times on iRacing. But you will have to wait a bit until I finish that film!

Enjoyed the fabrication, wish I could cut that straight with a hand grinder. Looking forward to your review, I'm in the process of deciding between the Simagic M10 and the AccuForce V2.

Yes it comes with lots of practice. Still way from perfect though. Those Bad obsession guys have got it down to a fine art! I'm working on the review now. So shouldn't be long. 👍 Thanks for the comments though 😉
