Thanks for sharing. Another option for the rubber pieces are stable mats used for horse stalls. We have them at our local feed store in a relatively small town. Not a bad compromise if you are in a remote area.

Looks good. A quick fix for the floppy rope hitch would be to slide a couple sticks of PVC over the ropes, or EMT electric conduit

Thanks, and yes that’s a great idea.

Thank you for your videos! I built one based off of them. 7’ wide for a skate deck or to be able to double track

That’s great to hear, I like hearing when people use some of my ideas. I’m interested to hear how it works out for you!

@@northwoodsengineered the drag works fantastic! It really only took a couple of hours to build and less than $200 in materials. I’m using a tracked ranger to pull it with a track setter piggybacked behind the drag.

Awesome, I hope it keeps working out for you.

Working on the ski trail groomer and wondering if you could send me the dimensions of both the smaller track setter box and size of the skis.
@northwoodsengineered Жыл бұрын
I can measure the one I have at my house however i believe it’s the same as the one in my other groomer video. If you go to my page and watch the first grimmer video I made and go to the 4:50 mark you can see the dimensions of the track setter pieces. The size of the box is just arbitrary to fit the track setter pieces on there. Let me know if there is another specific dimension you want

You mean the black pieces? There is a link in the description, they are called “trailer runners”.

How long did you cut your runners under the box?
@northwoodsengineered Жыл бұрын
There are 24 inches long

Sweet. How long is the loop at the house?
@northwoodsengineered3 жыл бұрын
I think it’s about a third of a mile so not super long. Gotta do few loops each time
