I’m a third generation machinist and have had the opportunities to work with some very precision machines for making straight cuts, but they are expensive. This is a cheap effective way of making what you have work two thumbs👍🏼 👍🏼 up, love the ingenuity.

got my right hand and wrist smashed by upset first calf heifer last year and it has made doing long strait cuts with a torch hard looks like this jig would be great to run with the angle grinder as well as making a one to help keep the torch on track that i could swap out for for when its needed adding this video to my things to make on a rainy day list

Можно доработать: приделать (на всю длину) вторую шину, которая будет ребром прикреплена к основной шине, а к каретке добавить подшипник сверху, (чтобы не нажимать для избежания отскока из основной шины). То есть, получится нечто, вроде рычага, при которой прижимая диск болгарки к изделию, Вы заставляете (с обратной стороны) верхний подшипник прижиматься ко второй шине (которая стоит ребром, чтобы не было прогиба верх). Плюс, вторая шина даст дополнительный вес, чтобы оператор не переживал за устойчивость приспособления.

Conceptually it is good, in the real world it would be damm near impossible to get a good fit on the track unless both rollers on one side had some form of adjustment and pay attn. to the parts that are just magically done like the bolt holes under the grinder.

This is a lovely build. As a subpar welder, I appreciate the taping and proper use of fasteners. The grub screw for truing up the angle is great. What is the washer/bearing at 06:10 called? Thanks for posting, I have some old heavy guage copper on which I need to make some long clean cuts.

Приспособление отличное, но при таком распиле диски быстро кончаются. Нужно чтобы диск вращался по ходу движения болгарки.

Я согласен.Но думаю так больше возможности подскакивать для ушм.Прижимать сильней нужно будет.Так фанеру распиливать.Можно было просто подошву без подшипников сделать и по линейке напровляющей резать.каждый раз напрягаться нужно.Работа без спокойствия и отдыха. Всё нужно напрягать в теле для ТБ. Каретка хорошая.Но с ней не спокойно.

Если диск кусочек отломится или будет удар по любой другой причине. Не хочу говорить что может быть.И настройка болтом 90 градуса для диска, в будущем может появиться в ушм от болта новое отверстие от вибрации и трений оно будет служить вентиляцией для щёток

Ещё все настраивают вертикаль но никто не настраивал ещё горизонталь.когда от вставленного диска на ушм с двух сторон замеряют расстояние до направляющей.Видео ролик 18+Без достаточных знаний не допускать
