While this purifier does work well, I found I had to replace the filter every month or it stopped working. Your mileage may vary...

In the college dorms, I remember the pot smokers blowing their smoke through paper roll/ tubes filled with bounce fabric softener sheets. That might work too! LOL

Very nice setup ; ) A pre filter before your heppa filter will give your heppa filter much more life.

It seems like most of the commercial laser filters use some sort of, probably inexpensive, foam "pre filter" to filter the larger particles before they get to the HEPA filter@@ValleyForged

I've been working this through in my head lately. I just vent straight out my back door of my building. But that just points to a drainage pond that nobody dares go into. But I'm about to upgrade my shop laser and my 10W diode will be going to my house for fun stuff. So I'm looking for an alternative.

There has to be a better solution, I used pre filter, hepa and 10lbs carbon and i think it lasted an hour with the ATOMSTACK 70w

How did you connect to the laser? My laser has a useless 3’ fan in the back. Would it work with a 4” hose from the laser to the box, with a 4” inline fan closer to the laser? I only have an XTool d1 pro 10w at the moment. And if you had multiple lasers could you put blast gates just before going into the box?

I used a 4" flange like I mentioned you could add to the box. Then added a 6" adapter (you can see in the vid). I think just doing a 6" the whole way would be better. You can just cut a bigger hole. Ditch the fan that comes with the laser. Yes, you can do a Y blast gate if you wish.

@@ValleyForged Thanks! I don’t have a way to vent outside, so I’m glad to see this design. I could use this and have my laser upstairs, vented out the window.
