Smoke / Tint taillights or headlights with VHT Night Shades spray paint. This better than using standard or plasti-dip paint because it allow more light to pass through. This can is about 10 dollars at your local auto parts store but you can probably buy it online a little cheaper. It is also much easier to remove than if you would use regular paint or plasti dip
We use:
VHT Night Shades
Masking Tape
Newspaper
Bucket with water
Sponge
600 grit sand paper
Although you might be able to do this without sanding, it is not a good idea because the paint might not adhere correctly.
Tip: Try to practice your spaying on a newspaper before attempting on the actual headlight/taillight. Spraying to slow can cause dripping and over darkening of the tail light. Spraying too quickly might not allow enough paint to stick. It's betting to spray too quickly than to slowly because if you get a dip, it is a whole lot of work to fix.
IF YOU MADE A MISTAKE, watch my other video on removing the tint. If you are going to spray tint, you don't need to purchase the clear.
WARNING: Modifying your tail lights this way will obstruct the light from passing though clearly. In some states you can still get away as long as it is clearly visible at a certain distance. This also goes for the built in reflectors (So installing a brighter light isn't a solution). Be precautions as this may draw unwanted attention from police.
