You could also have like a little bear holding a small picture frame with a favorite pic of a couple, or a new mom w/baby, wedding pic, etc., in one hand, arm around the Coke w/the other hand/arm. You could use any drink, depending on what the gift receiver’s fav. drink is, or maybe something diet/sugar-free if the person is diabetic! You could wrap the gifts in shrink wrap if you wanted to make sure the candy didn’t fall off. Just a few thoughts.

Adrienne McMillan You could use the sodas, or you could always take empty soda bottles, wash them very well, & fill them with M&M’s, Skittles, or Reese’s Pieces. Obv., you couldn’t sell those, & they wouldn’t be good to hand out to just anyone, but for your son or family, they’d love them!

Love this! To help with the flatness on the top at the end you could glue an embellishment at the top to celebrate the occasion; Rabbit or Carrot for Easter; Balloon for Birthday, etc.

We made these years ago. We used a ice cream sundae dish. You put candy in the glass dish and then glue the styrofoam ball on top. Then add candy to the ball. Once finished we added a couple of straws.

Would be a fun, inexpensive gift to use for a year-long “Secret Pal” type thing. Use your pal’s fav. drinks/snacks, colors, etc., maybe for a Friday, special day, cheer-up idea, just to say “hello, thinking about you, hope you have a great day!”

Great idea and relatively inexpensive gift for coworkers. Like all of your examples, mixing the candy would also be an idea to try with the larger candy towards the bottom and smaller towards the top. TFS

Instead of putting in more candy to fill the gaps you could always use green tissue paper to make it look like leaves.

Charge clients to buy the supplies.either a flat price list for candy/pop and you pick it up or have them supply you the edibles. You supply ribbons, glue, foam, tissue and design time etc.. Allow them to choose how full/big they want it to be and then charge a flat rate for your service. Ie. Small $20 Big $30 etc.. This also allows you to not be responsible for selling food and the buyer doesnt see it as a extremely high cost for service.. they actually see how much the materials are costing. For travel/delivery purposes, go to your local liquor store & ask for empty wine case boxes. The inside of the box is like a tic tac toe board, so there is a "block" for each bottle to fit into.

Very cute, I would suggest trying round bubble gum balls at the top. Ribbon takes away from the bubble gum.

I did something similar years ago. I covered the foam balls with a fabric. That way the balls were reusable and could be decorated for different themes. Those foam balls are expensive in Hawaii.

Thank you so much yes I have made smarties, laffy taffy, all the same size chocolates you can think of lol.. Now if you mean mixing candy on one ball I have not tried that. as long as they are the same size it will look adorable :)

I have also made them on Coke glasses or vases. Put candy inside them before gluing on the foam ball

I was thinking of covering the coke with glitter tissue or a shiny/colorful something.Then after painting the foam ball stick a skewer stick in the ball to do another layer. Depending on the length of the stick I may have room for bow on top. I think doing rustic would look good.Skewer stick with Raffia an that tan cording.Its a fresh thought but I need to put on paper.just trying to think of other things to do.
