Hi! I always try to use thrifted clothes or my own used clothes for my DIYs but this time American Apparel gave me products to work with. It helped me a lot since I create many project and I didn't have to go to the thrift store to finds solids tees to print on. :) But I will always encourage you to buy second hand, it's cheaper and more eco-friendly !! :) thanks for your understanding

Nice!!! I made a stamp years ago of the Bayside bird logo and I never though about using it for clothes. Also, don't forget to heat-set your fabric and design with an iron after using fabric paint!

If you use fabric-specific ink then yes it is! Make sure the ink you use is permanent and meant for fabric, and it should last! :)

Could I use a potato for that stamp? I don't have that patience with wood.
@agentcallisto9 жыл бұрын
Teru Black I have used potatoes to stamp fabric before, and they do work beautifully. The only thing is that because they are so wet, after you cut the design, it will begin to shrink and distort as the potato dries out. This won't affect your design at first if it's fairly large. I carved some roughly one-inch designs into a potato, and after a half hour or so of stamping I noticed they weren't looking as good, but I did some pretty fine details. Something to consider. If you did the cat shape like in this video, for instance, I don't think you'll have much of a problem. Good luck! And sorry this is a month after your post. Hope it's still useful!

@BeauPeople10 жыл бұрын
Yes it does stay! Fabric paint, you can iron it once it's dry, this will make the pain "cook" and it will be more permanent that way!
