For Cricut to cut the wick centre: make sure in canva you click on the wick cut shape and move it to the front. Then once saved (transparent background) upload to canva, next, once it show in the preview, click on the centre and erase :)

Great videos, I have learned a ton of great tips from you. Thank you! ....Canva Tip-When you need to move a element, fonts etc. Just enlarge your work area. You were working at 24%, increase it to 100% to get the most accurate spacing and then just reduce it back to normal. Just wanted to give some AZ love.

great tutorial but you missed a couple steps that would be very helpful to some. 1. normally on cricut design space, you have to choose "print then cut or cut image". How did you go straight from upload to the canvas with the printing on the dust cover. If I choose "cut image" it shows up as all black. If I choose print then cut, It acts like a sticker and wants me to print on my printer which Im not doing. 2. how did you get you wick hole to be a transparent hole? You went from black on canva, then on design space its a transparent hole. I cannot get that transparent hole and it would be nice to know how you did it. Thanks.

I tried to flatten but it says not supported by explorer 3. Also, I am trying to print 4 dust covers on one page but when I press "make it" only 2 go on the page and the project is split up into 2 prints. It's consuming because it fits the page so I'm not sure why it cant print all 4.

Thanks for the tutorial - I found it very helpful but just one question, what are you doing to make sure the center hole is cut out by the cricut? When I tried it failed to cut the center hole. I would really love some help as I just purchased a Cricut and need help based off of this tutorial. You show in canva that you created a black circle in the centre but once that image is transferred to cricut, cricut does not cut out the centre I really need help on this.
@katinkenbrandt78452 жыл бұрын
After you download your image from Canva and upload it to Cricut design space, you'll get an option for image type - click moderately complex. On the next page, you'll simply click on your black circle and it should cut it out :)
@lippymommy2 жыл бұрын
@@katinkenbrandt7845 I appreciate the help but this did not work.......am I missing a step? I cannot click the black dot, it selects the entire image. Sorry I'm such a newb.
@katinkenbrandt78452 жыл бұрын
@@lippymommy No worries! I am myself just trying to figure things out :) At the Background Remover section (after you selected Moderately Complex), click on "Select" in under the "Manual". Then it should remove your black center after you click on it. If it doesn't work, you can click on "Erase" instead of "Select" an erase you black center manually - you can adjust the size of the eraser so it should be fairly easy.
