Nice but would have looked a bit better if there was some colour on the panels or made them black also.

Very Cool! Though i have to ask... is it bolted down? because while i'm guessing that the high mass makes it hard to tip, if it were to tip it looks like it would fall with quite a small angle of... tippage, or whatever the right word for it would be.
@Roetz402 жыл бұрын
Through the standoffs the whole think is bolted down via 4x M12 bolts. It will only tip if the whole company tips :P

@@Roetz40 Haha, awesome. I asked because I have considered this style of speaker for my living room to incorporate into some large decorative prints that hang on the wall. What a bitchin way to incorporate invisible 2 channel speakers into the decor, just to compliment (or even replace) the lousy speakers that come in a large flat screen TV.

I would have loved a 4 channel dsp amp with delay, crossovers, 31 band EQ etc. But this was all about upcycling, using materials that are already there. So I guess that cheap thing is kind of a suitable solution... ;)

Looks excellent, I do have to ask though. You've got the 3-D printed enclosure for the amplifier with some neat looking fins, do you plan on making that part out of a heat-conducting material at some point in the future? Or is the amplifier cooled well enough without that? Looks good either way.
@Roetz402 жыл бұрын
For now it is only a design feature. The Amp stays cool enough to not worry about it :)

You should make the titles more clickbaity. The video is great but it lacks promotion 😂
@Roetz402 жыл бұрын
Got any suggestions? :P
@rickgreer72032 жыл бұрын
@@Roetz40 It's sadly required for the algorithm, along with title cards -- but you can still do it in a classy way, and deliver whats promised. LIke say kzbin.infovideos or kzbin.infovideos or kzbin.infovideos and such. This kzbin.info/www/bejne/m2LHf4NpfcqYoMU is a decent take on it, and he's already changed that video title 3 times in the last few days...I think there is even value in early vs late audience to a video and the titles used. In any case, this is awesome, and great work!
@hadinossanosam44592 жыл бұрын
I disagree, I feel this channel generally has a pretty good balance of promotable but still relevant/informative/accurate titles, while the current one ("You wont believe what I build out of this Rusty Pipe!" in case it changes again) stands out to me as obnoxious: standard template "you won't believe" (yes, I will) with almost no information about content (Machining? Fabricating? Melting and casting?), I only click such titles if I know the channel and expect the video to be good either way (which it was, by the way! :) ) I understand needing to find a balance between clickability and pure content description, just wanted to provide some feedback from the other side as well. (If I had to suggest an alternative, maybe "Massive subwoofer built from rusty pipes" or "Turning rusty water pipes into a subwoofer", or "Worlds heaviest subwoofer" if you must, but take these with a grain of salt since I am not a youtube creator)
@Roetz402 жыл бұрын
@@hadinossanosam4459 Im 100% with you... Always when uploading a video im debating myself how to title it. I hate to go that clickbaity route but it seems to be necessary if you want to be "sucessfull" on any social media platform. But thb im not good ad that (and maybe I dont want to be). Also I never run ads on my vids, so having low views on a vid doesnt translate bad to my bank account. But spending something like 50-60 hours on such a project is way more rewarding if you reach a greater audience with it... :P Thanks to both of you for your suggestions. I made another thumbnail/title, lets see if this gets the algorithm going. If not, you can find me listening tunes on my stereo system in my workshop :P
@rickgreer72032 жыл бұрын
@@hadinossanosam4459 Yeah. It's a real art to make KZbin happy and to not sound like a jerk... I think also why some folks use a plainer title for a day or so (for main fans) and then change to a a more dramatic one later (for the randoms). Anyway, I don't disageee -- and I'm not a YT creator either.
