Instead of styrene do you think a chunk of hose clamp would work for the buckle?
@pnwRC.2 жыл бұрын
I think it just might work, & am excited to try it! Now I have to source a hose clamp & give it a go.

Nice how too 👍🏼 You need a printer so you can mass produce those buckles

I've got the printer, but I DON'T have enough knowledge of CAD to make the files!

@@pnwRC. Hi thanks for the video and instructions! I made a quick sketchup model of the buckle based on the measurements you said in the video (3mm border, 10mm slot, 3mm thick, 1.5mm spacing between slots. Let me know if it works and is it ok if I link your video to the thingiverse description ? www.thingiverse.com/thing:4106663 Thanks again!

@@BenSaraceno I believe that your design should work well. It would be great if you link them to this video in the description. Thank-you for designing this.

I forgot to mention in the video, I used 3mm thick polystyrene to make the buckles for these straps. Thanks, Ben Saraceno, for designing 3D printed buckles! The buckles he designed can be found at this link. www.thingiverse.com/thing:4106663 Thanks again!

Next time, get some help with the video recording. Most of the time, you couldn’t tell what you were doing. Had you had help recording the video, your video would have been good. Also, clean up your work area or at least lay down a clean work mat. It looks like your work area is the back of an old Jean jacket or something similar. This comment is provided with the highest respect and in no way intended to be offensive or condescending. This comment was provided to help. I hope you provide the videos using help with the video recording.

I barely have enough free time to accomplish the RC builds that I have planned for myself. IF I had the free time, I would have offered them for sale. Several have asked if I would make these for them.
