I think these are great! Creative yet simple & I've been wanting to make stud earrings for a while, thanks for showing me how to attach them! Does the hot glue hold without fail with many pullings apart to get them out of your ears? 💜

Hello Jennifer. Yes, I absolutely may tell that the hot glue is working great on a waxed cord. I made already 2 pairs of stud earrings and I'm bringing them without any problems. ❤

what kind of knots are the forward backward or vise versa

Hello Brittany. Forward or backward knots are simply reverse double half hitch knot. They have 2 names because for the friendship bracelets ( where they are most commonly used) it is important to follow on which side you must put your working cord after you make the knot. In the forward knot, your working cord must point the direction of the knitting and in the backward knot the working cord must return back. I hope this makes sense to you! :)

@@BRM.90 Honestly in normal macrame, there is not a big deal if you will use backward or forward knot, it's more important in the friendship bracelets because you have to have always a specific order of your cords in every row. When i am using these knots i prefer the backward knot, simply because it easier for me to make it.
