I don't think silicon sticks to abs plastic needs to be silicate based

Actually the sump I created using silicone is still going strong. No hints of the caulk failing to stick to the ABS.

@@IanKreer how did u size the abs plastic? Was it slightly smaller than the width of the tank? Or snug fit? I’m trying to use plexiglass. They say it expands in water! Do u think it’s true?

@@loki8686 The ABS I used was 1/4" thick. I cut the ABS to be firm against the glass sides. I honestly do not think plexiglass expands in water, because think of all the tanks MADE OUT OF Plexiglas. All of those manufactures would be out of buisness. Hope this helps!
