Any chance you could share a template of the bottom plate?

you can buy the motor from DAA: www.doublealpha.biz/mr-bulletfeeder-motor but you can many low speed 12V DC geared motors on ebay. The HDPE you can buy from Amazon or Zorotools other sources. The HDPE seems to be the same no matter where you get it, so just find the best price. the bucket you can pick up anywhere of course. The Mr Bulletfeeder dropper is still the best and the most expensive, but you can get the Hornaday one for a 3rd of the price and it works ok.

What are the details of the bullet flipper? The ramp I can see and understand but the aluminum plate is harder to see from directly above. I can't tell how your dropping the upside down bullets so they always orient themselves top out. Its a great video otherwise! Thanks for posting it.

The aluminum plate has a step and angle machined into it. So the bullet , if nosed down drops onto the lower area and then rides the edge until horizontal and then the ramp flips it. If upright, it does not drop down and just rides until it reaches the drop hole.

@@TriggerMeisterDOTcom Thanks for the clarification. I see it now.

That is cool.

Did you need different knockers for different caliber sizes?
@TriggerMeisterDOTcom7 жыл бұрын
G P no you don't. just different bullet plates (sometimes). e.g. my 40 S&W plate works with 9mm 147gr, but not with 124gr 9mm very well.

what is the mount arm you used
@TriggerMeisterDOTcom7 жыл бұрын
Thomas Matthews it's a panavise mount. It was used frequently in car phone installations. this one only had one elbow, so i threaded the other end to mount it in the post.

so basically used a drill press for most of the operation? could you post in a link where you got the parts and motor?
@darthdively8 жыл бұрын
you really made this look easy
@TriggerMeisterDOTcom8 жыл бұрын
+darthdively it's really not that hard, just time consuming. you can do everything with a drill press, although cutting the one pocket for the metal flip plate is easier on a mill. if you only run similar bullets you may be able to just cut a flip groove into the HDPE and not even make a an aluminum flip plate.

+TriggerMeister.com thanks! i think i'll give it a try. gonna get a drill press today. if anything i get a drill press out of it for future.

+darthdively pick up a couple of router bits or end mills too. they cut better than a drill bit. HF has both for cheap...
