Love these! looking up how to do and like your shape and fabric choices. Just a small hint if anyone reading at this date. You can pull the end of the yarn through hole with a regular needle threader, a folded piece of thin wire or even sew threw the end with thread and regular needle and put that needle through the eye of the larger needle. Can also if you dont have a long needle to go entirely through the pumpkin is use a curved tapestry needle to go through a thick part of the top and come out and go back down and do same to anhor at bottom.

Wow! I have seen a lot of videos about fabric or sweater pumpkins and none of them are nearly as thorough as your instructions. I am super impressed! First of all, your pumpkins look better than ANY I have seen, that weren’t professionally made. They are gorgeous and I am ready to make one! I just found you and will definitely check out your other videos. I understand your nervousness, and let me assure you that you are doing a great job here. You’ll learn as you go about all the the technical stuff, better lighting might want to be considered, for both you and “your viewers”. Yes, you have them!! Keep up the great work!!

I'm glad I clicked on this ~ I've watched other "sweater pumpkin" videos, but it didn't occur to me to use other cloth! That opens up so many options! And you're making them from scratch! I wasn't feeling great about venturing out to buy pumpkins from Dollar Tree. You might want to put something in your title that you're not using ready-made pumpkins. I almost didn't click, because I thought it was the same as the others, but yours is in a class by itself!! And until you said you were nervous, I never would have guessed; very professional; and easy to follow! I see this is from 2018, so you're probably an old hat by now!

AWESOME IDEA!! I hope I have a couple of sweaters in my closet that are not good enough to give to my church's clothing drive that is coming up in September for poor people. I am packing to move too so have an assortment of clothes to donate and I often like the fabric my clothes are made out of to cut apart and reuse but, I don't have the heart too when so many are poor in my area of VA. The top will have to be pretty ratty before I would cut it up to use for crafts. I may just go to G Street Fabrics and buy some sweater material. I have tons of gingham cotton and plaid too in my fabric pile and I have some flannel plaid too I can use. Thanks for a great idea!! Rebekah in Alexandria City, VA
