Got a 1998 alumacraft maverick 17ft. Got it from a friend who originally bought it for his son but sadly he passed away. Trying to do a complete restoration for the next time I see him. Tackling the electrical now next is decking and carpet. Your videos are awesome, thank ya man!

Getting ready to do a full build on a 17.5ft Osagian square back canoe. Already procured a new Elco EP-5 and a pair of 200ah 12v lithium batteries and all but one cable. Starting to accumulate structural items and looking into turf. The boat had an ample casting deck in the middle which was 20+ years old, built with 2x4's and 3/4" plywood and was rotting bad. Not sure if I'm going back to a center deck or just installing compartments for the batteries and a flat floor. Plenty of head scratching to do.

Love the work you do, great stuff! I'm looking for some advice. Believe it or not if you search youtube it's impossible to find a simple video showing how to fill/repair previous holes on your bass boat deck. I have a 2023 tracker classic xl and my front graph was mounted by Bass Pro. They did a great job but it's located to close to the trolling motor and I didn't notice at first, not until after fishing several times off the front deck. I just want to move it to the right, easy fix but I'm worried about how to fill the previous holes. There is simply no videos on the tube showing the best way to do this, I was shocked. Anyway, I'm sure you've done this and have a great method and I'm hoping you will share. If you could also recommend the best product to use when installing new screws, type of silicon you use is what I'm guessing to seal them proper. I'm going to be adding a 12" light bar next to the graph and new LED lighting all around the boat. This is my first time doing this and I'm a complete newbie but work is so expensive these days it's about time I learned to do this myself. Any help would be appreciated and once again thank you for all you do!

With a wood deck you can use 3M Silicone to fill the holes. 3M Marine Grade Silicone Sealant, 08019, For Boats and RVs, Above the Waterline Interior/Exterior Sealing, Clear, 3 fl oz Tube a.co/d/9DkEO59 For the screws you can use self tapping screws for most applications. #6 x 3/4" Phillips Pan Head Self Tapping Screws Sheet Metal Tek Screws, Stainless Steel 410, Pack of 100 a.co/d/2xZC4mn chose the right length you need. For your mounting your fish finder best scenario is to bolt it down which will require to remove the deck or panel

I have a full gut and rebuild going on. 10 hatches, custom catfish livewell, full flow rite kit with SOO many leds, 3 lithium battery’s, hydro, 3 bilge pumps, cnc, power poles, atlas jack with float pods and a 20hp merc. 😂. It’s a year and change in the works but it should be in the water in the next 3 days. 95% TBN.
