your a pretty handy guy, so you should Google ARDUINO STEPPER MOTOR DRIVER, this will allow you to set your speed VIA a turn pot. I would recommend a NEMA-23 425oz for something that sturdy. This would allow you a direct drive with no gearing and even set up a closed loop giving you a guaranteed speed regardless of wear and tear... As you get more involved with the Arduino you can even set a variable relay on your heat source. Advanced users can make it to touch screen with one button presets.

Instead of E clips on the belt tensioner, a hole through the rod and a cotter pin might be faster to make. I wonder if a discarded metal range hood would be a better choice for the oven housing if you're worried about heat. Clever using the window screen belting and gasket cement for joining the ends. I like the overall design. Looks like you built this for under $400. How is it holding up?

This is a terrific video. I don't really understand these guys that start promising projects like this and then never tell the whole story (or how it ended up). Even if something failed we could learn from it. A couple of thoughts. Why do these have to be so big and wide? As long as the shirt can reach (and stay at temp) for the requisite time, what do we need all the extra length for? Love the rotisserie motor idea. Mine is from a Farberware tabletop electric rotisserie. 1.2 RPM & STRONG!

I like you video. Very nice build. Where can I find your information on the dryer part? I am looking at starting water based printing and can not buy a retail forced air dryer on my budget. lol. Thanks and again loved the video.

How many lights did you use? Are they the 250w heat bulbs?

Your belt roller looks like PVC pipe, how's the heat does the pvc pipe can absorb heat from the oven? I'm thinking of using it if no problem.
