As always, beautiful! You could also buy 2 of the small trumpet vases from dollar tree (they look like drinking glasses) and 1 round candle vase. Put a flower in the candle vase and using E6000 glue them all together depending on how tall you want it. Personally, to save time. I would use the vase as shown. Depending on your time, patience and budget either way would turn out beautiful. Congratulations to her and her future hubby!!

saudia spratt I said the same thing to myself about the vases; although I like her rendition, those vases are too pricey for me... So thank you for sharing that idea, because I am on a budget as well... 👍🏾

@@MissPlanIt Thanks. I will! She was leaning toward a vineyard wedding but can't afford it. I was thinking of surprising her with a reception decorated with a vineyard type theme.

This absolutely beautiful I will be doing it for my wedding in Jamaica to save money. Do you have any tips to make it just a little bigger ?
@MissPlanIt
@MissPlanIt 6 жыл бұрын
Hi Priscilla! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I have 2 suggestions for you. Be sure to check out this weeks post to see how to create this vase for $3. You could add a base foam disc. They come in various sizes and thicknesses. I would not go smaller than and 8 inch width. Just sit the centerpiece on top of the disc for extra height. You can cover the disc with more flowers or cover with glitter , maybe sand! Hope this helps! XOXO MissPlanIt

I made centerpieces similar to this for my sons wedding. I did them ahead of time as I was not sure I was crafty enough to pull it off and wanted to give myself time to play with them some to get them just right. My dilemma now is, how do I transport them? I welcome any suggestions! Venue is about an hour and a half away :(
@MissPlanIt
@MissPlanIt 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Kelly! First off I LOVE a planner that starts early! The best way to transport is to wrap the entire centerpiece in bubble wrap. Then stand them up in large moving boxes with the top open. This should keep them from breaking and the lose of any flowers. You should just need to adjust a few stems once you get to the venue. I hope this helps! Many blessings to your son and his bride! XOXO MissPlanIt

Miss Planit, beautiful centerpiece. TFS I luv your projects and I'm trying to get my project to sell. On this centerpiece, in place of the vase you used in this centerpiece, can 2 Pilsner glasses and a small fish bowl type vase be used by gluing the DT ball vase to the bottoms of the 2 Pilsner glasses from DT? Using these 3 DT item would cost approximately $3 as oppossed to the LaTour vase that cost close to $25?

Hi there! Do you need a wet foam ball for real flowers? Have you tried using Styrofoam for real ones?

Hi! Yes you will need to use floral foam for live flowers that can absorb water.
