DIY tent stake tool [1.8 oz.]

I enjoy using a tent stake hammer to nail in stakes when I set up my tarp or tent. I especially like not wrecking my hands when the ground is hard or rocky. It is also handy for quickly pulling stakes back out of the ground. Trouble is, it is just too heavy.
Experimented to figure out a device that could do the same thing as the hammer, but at a fraction of the weight. The solution ended up being pretty simple. Would I take this little DIY tent puller/pusher on a trip? For the weight of less than 2 ounces, maybe so, maybe so...
My objective is to grow this li'l channel organically. I am not buying subscribers. I am not taking any short-cuts. I realize my videos are kind of all over the place. I also use a 1/2” cpvc tee as a stake pusher-iner. But, I just flip it over and put the stake string loop over the middle part of the Tee and pull the stakes out using the tee as a handle. Mine just has a little loop of yellow and reflective cord so I can find it if I drop it.

That’s awesome! The string and carabiner help save your back. I made one like the msr tent stake pusher, with a walking stick wide rubber tip, but this seems even better. I gotta try it

Estwing has a new camper's axe that has a stake puller so besides that and pounding in stakes, it can actually function as a legit firewood processor. At 24oz, it's twice the weight of that light stake hammer, but you can do a whole lot with it like chopping limbs to clear a campsite, splitting logs for firewood, busting up nuts, etc..., and when necessary, to fend off bears and wolves. Having said that, I like the bankline/PVC idea. Nice work.

Place a spare stake through the loop of the one stuck in the ground and use it as a T handle to pull it out. Grab some wood or stone to help drive the stake. For me the problem just doesn’t exist. Great creativity though.

If camping a hatchet is good to have to split fire wood and usual has a hammer head on the opposite side. Not trolling either.
