Thank you so much for sharing. I´ve been wanting to try one of these water gardens for a long time. Please explain one doubt I have. Before you use the wet napkins you say you make CEMENT with acrilic paint. Is that all you use for the cement? Acrylic paint mixed in water with a creamy texture? I suppose that is an essencial step to avoid the Epoxy Resin to run through the stones and infiltrate through the soil. All the rest is very clearly explained and I expect we can use use other type of plants and landscape beside cacti or suculents. Hope you can answer my question.

I think I know now from your Diorama with the water fall. You mix white cement with water and the acrylic paint. Now it makes sense.

Hi Anabela, First of all thanks for the comment. Yes I mix the cement with water and acrylic pain, all that to avoid the resin to affect the cactus. You can use another type of flowers, but I use always cactus or succulents because they don't grow fast and I don't have to replace them in a couple of years :D If you have any other question you can ask me

Yes it works. Because the cactus don't need a lot of water this is perfect for them. You just need to place them on very good sunlight 😊

Also do u have to let the cement dry before putting on the epoxy? And how much epoxy of each do u ues? Also for th cement is reg gray smooth cement work?? Also what are u mixing together and Why are you weighing it?

The cement MUST dry before you put epoxy. I use 60g resin and 40g hardener.(but every resin has it's own ratio. and for the cement it's not important what cement you use :D

The resin has two parts. One is resin and the second is hardener. When you buy resin they always go together 😊

No no it won't. The epoxy that I add as a water after a couple of hours become glass. And it's waterproof

Hi, I tried doing this, but my resin got absorbed into the soil! Can you please tell me what could have gone wrong? And what care should i take for that not to happen?

Hi. As you can see in step:4. I make one layer from cement and put it on a wet napkin. And when the cement is dryied than you can put the resin. Because in that way it won't go on the ground and won't affect the cactus. You can see that step in 4:16min in the video 😀

@@Decorcrafts i did the same, it still seeped in. Ive left the seeped in resin as it is for now, will check back tomorrow and see if its hardened. Will add another layer then if it has. Hopefully it wont seep in anymore then. By any chance, can we add a plastic sheet or something there instead of the cement? Also, will wet cement absorb the resin?

There must be a hole or space somewhere where the resin find a way to go through. Also the cement has to be super dry, otherwise if it's wet the resin will go through it. Yes you can use something plastic but you won't ge t the same result. And tomorrow you can put another layer from the resin but first check if it hardened enough. If you have some other problem you can ask me ☺️
