switching palettes, nice one :-) i was on the point of ordering all the stuff but some guy told me to wait for the new infiray model, if it has analog out on the pcb.... a lot of users sent mails to infiray, with "need analog out" hehehehehe. i wonder why... ?

@@3nertia everybody can use analog, even there are switches available and hig power TX modules. which digital fpv system would you use? the dead walksnail, the hdzero thing, the dji thing?? which one of the 4 big systems? there is one more from a czech guy, its open source. promising, but more specialized in ip cam modules, but this onm here is with usb output, i dont know if its easy to combine. it would be great though.

@@rolliseventeen HDZero and Walksnail are both open source lol I haven't tried the systems yet so I can't say for sure but I hangout with a bunch of fpv pilots with significant amounts of experience and they all seem to prefer Walksnail though DJI does seem to have better penetration and better video quality :) HDZero seems to be a close second to Walksnail though just for versatility and the low latency - popular with racers

I would recommend the Infiray P2 Pro, but I only tested a few cameras

it might work with the new script. You could try testing the T2 with the Linux/Raspbian app webcamoid. Just install it "apt-get install webcamoid", plug in the camera, start webcamoid and test the camera (if it is v4l compatible). Check the resolutions and create a screenshot, even if the frame doesn't contain a rendered image. The new script doesn't need a pre rendered video on the top of the frame. It reads the temperature information (lower part o the frame) to create the output. I create a tutorial soon.

maybe tomorrow, just checked flirpy and the algorithms looks different to the simple ptc script which just reads the lower part of the frame and converts them into temperatures. I read somewhere that Flir cameras does this too, but it doesn't look like it.

about 300-400 m; it's a bit better using the raw image from the camera, without processing extra colormaps.

it depends on the license of the individual software downloaded, compiled, patched by the installer; i.e. the Seek software is under MIT license a.s.o. The project links are always in the video description. The installer package itself doesn't contain any Open Source components. I haven't decided yet what to do with it. But it's free to download.
