The pitcher is a late 1980's home interior piece.Back in the day the rave was blue and mauve everything. I sold this item back then.I am sure your mom remembers it. Love your channel and look forward to all your videos. Thanks for all your inspiration.

I really enjoy your redos. You are one of my new favorite thrifters. My son lives in East Lansing. Went to MSU and stayed in area. He would like to move closer to Ann Arbor, because he works by Detroit. We live about hour south of Chicago. Keep up the good picking.

Loved the box for keys. I think that turned out super duper nice. You really put it to the next level. ( by the way I love the kitchen you did over at your cottage. Looks like a good place to go n relax n get way from the hustle of life) I just love all your ideas you come up with. I’ve tried a few of them from watching you. I’ve got so much of them scattered in my house n I hate to get rid of them as I’m running out of places to put them. I lack storage in my house. No garage n don’t trust the attic, too many critters up there LOL. Besides I’m attached to them. Sorry Kelly, there I go again rambling on. Your the best! ♥️♥️😊👍👍👍

These projects turned out amazing! DIY paint reactivates if another application is applied. That happened when you applied the ModPodge. You discovered a new technique for future projects! Great job on each one! I commented on your previous video about my mess up on the iron transfer - I didn't follow your directions on cutting out the image I made a rectangle around the image and that extra paper was melted on my fabric- UGH. I had to iron around the image to melt it and peel it off. LOL for not following directions!
@CrimeAsylum2 жыл бұрын
Love the vids, yes you would have needed to seal the wax for it to not be reactivated, but luckily you didn't, because it looks great!

I have been binge watching all your videos and I am learning so much. I really enjoy you and your mom shopping together! But I have a question I haven’t been able to discover in your videos - what epoxy resin mix do you use? Do you mix it with pigment and then the paper clay? I just bought the IOD bird molds but I am a little confused about how you get the best results. Could you help a girl out?❔🤫 Thank you! (A slower video showing the process would be great for all your followers, I am sure.😁). Thank you!
@FLEAMARKETRESCUE2 жыл бұрын
Hi C. Lyon!!! That's AWESOME and Yes, I can help a girl out!!! LOL The epoxy resin I use is Magic Sculpt. It comes in two parts. You mix both together (one white part and one gray part) and when it's mixed properly...you won't see anymore gray. I use Magic Sculpt with all my furniture applique pieces. I don't add any pigment to them. I simply paint them after I glue them on whatever it is that I was working on. In your case it is going to be a bird project. Now, you can use Paperclay...you don't have to use Magic Sculpt. The only reason I use it, is because it very durable and it goes on a lot of furniture pieces that might get knocked around. Also, I use it on all my Etsy orders so that they ship well and won't get broken? But, truly either product will would work. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching all my videos and I'm so glad that you have been learning a lot from them! XOXO

How do you make the white frames around your pics in the thumbnail? I use Canva but can’t figure out how to not make it look cra cra 😂I LOVE your channel so much sherry

Hi Kathy! Actually, I use Photoshop and there is a button that says "add stroke" and that puts the white boarder around my pictures. I've never used Canva...so, I really don't know how to do it through that platform. I'm so sorry...I wish I could help you, but again...I use Photoshop for all my pictures and thumbnails. Also, thanks so much for the sweet comment about loving my channel! I really appreciate it, Kathy!!! XOXO

Do you sell the plants with the item you worked on. Do you take them out Love your work!
@FLEAMARKETRESCUE2 жыл бұрын
It depends...some of the photos that I take...I put in some of my own greenery to make the photo look nice and then take the greenery out and just sell the item. Throughout the summer, though...I look for greenery at garage sales and usually they are like .50 to $2.00, so if an item does needs a little greenery....I will add it to that item because it's was so inexpensive to do. I just had a situation at our booth where I took the greenery out and the item just sat there for weeks....no one bought the item. My mom came by and said, "You need some greenery in that." She took some from her "garage sale" stash of greenery and add it to it and do you know...it was sold within the week, so it just needed something, where other items...people just want the item. Hope that helps! PS>Thank you for the sweet compliment!!! XOXO

I don’t think the first project looks like a transfer. It looked to me like a decal sticker. But, cute. I would need the correct information in order to plan projects.
@FLEAMARKETRESCUE2 жыл бұрын
The manufacture called it a transfer, however, it I listed it under a transfer "decal" and I also have added a 5 second video on how to use it...so the customer knows what it is and how to apply it. It's one of my best sellers in my Etsy store.
